Gratitude!

We'd like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday for our Monadnock Gathering of Freedom Groups.

A total 168 people registered, and from our initial tallies most of those attended. We’ve heard from many how meaningful the event was. Your presence is what make this event so valuable. Time and again we heard from people that they made new important connections, and found others living closer to them.

We’d like to thank all of the group leaders who partnered with us to get the word out to their members, and who traveled to Swanzey and spent the better part of a beautiful day sharing themselves with all who came.

Rep. Jim Kofalt capped off the day beautifully with some powerful sharing on how he has, and we all can, begin bridging the political divide in our state and country. We look forward to expanding on such conversations.

We’d also like to thank all those who volunteered, either with setup, registering and orienting attendees, providing food, parking lot management, regional group networking tables, bringing extra tables, and/or cleanup: Bill, Tammy, Kevin, Suzanne, Merrick, Mary, Gene, Melissa, Kristen, Steve, Elena, Donna, Tony, John, Deanne, Frank, David, Julia, Tom, Andy, Amy, Keith, Jenn, Emilia, and Ezra. Many thanks to Connie Paton and Country Life Restaurant for their generous and delicious donation of food. We could not have pulled this off without all of your gifts of time, energy, caring and commitment to community building.

Thank you also to The Village Church in Swanzey, which has graciously opened its doors to us several times already for these kinds of events. Without community partners like you, we could not do what we do.

We’ll be sharing more information soon, including our regional networking lists, VCAL website invites, and more.
